BIOGRAPHIES
Abigail Hart Goldman is a second year master’s candidate in the Vocal Performance Program, studying musical theatre in the studio of Harolyn Blackwell. NYU credits include Pippin (Ensemble) and Dr. Glas: A Musical Play (Mrs. Gustaffson). Abigail has also performed in the NYU Chorale and as a soloist with the NYU Broadway Orchestra. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College where she appeared in productions such as Buried Child (Shelly), A Little Night Music (Anne), Spring Awakening (Martha), and Heroes of the Fourth Turning (Teresa). abigailhartgoldman.com
Noah Turner is a New York-based pianist, music director, and arranger. Recently he has worked as Associate Music Director on the International Tour of The Sound of Music in Manila, the Music Assistant on Joy the Musical (with Music Supervisor Andy Einhorn), and Music Director/Conductor of the Jersey Boys 2nd National Tour. He has served as an Associate/Assistant Music Director on NYU Steinhardt productions alongside Joshua Rosenblum, Ana Flavia Zuim, and Ted Sperling. He also Music Directed West 4th Stage Company’s production of Darling, a contemporary musical by Ryan Scott Oliver. Noah received his Master’s degree in Collaborative Piano from NYU Steinhardt, where he studied with Stan Tucker, and has a Bachelor’s degree in Composition from SUNY Fredonia. www.noahturnermusic.com
Richie Cardile is a second-year graduate student in the Vocal Performance program, studying Musical Theatre in the studio of Justin John Moniz. Recent credits include: Pippin (Pippin), Applause (Ensemble), and In Pieces (Austyn) at NYU Steinhardt, as well as Hair (Berger) at Hawaii Performing Arts Festival. Richie has also performed as a vocalist at 54 Below and with the NYU Pop/Rock Ensemble and Broadway Orchestra. These past two years at NYU have been full of joy, friendship, and discovery. I extend my sincerest gratitude to my incredible recital team; It is truly an honor to work with all of you. To my voice teacher, Harolyn Blackwell: I have learned so much about singing and about myself from you. Thank you for sharing your kindness and knowledge these past two years. Thank you to Elena Shaddow for your incredible talent and generosity. It is hard to believe I've only been working with you for one semester, as I feel I have learned so much from you. To my pianist, Noah Turner: thank you for your wonderful talent and collaboration. It has been lovely working with you. Thank you to Richie Cardile for lending your phenomenal voice to First Date / Last Night. I love singing with you and being your friend.
Thank you so much to Dr. Ana Flavia Zuim, Barrie Gelles, Alexander Gemignani, Marcia Lesser, Stan Tucker, David Alpert, Jen Bender, Lee Summers, and all of my brilliant teachers at NYU. I have learned so much about myself these past two years and it is thanks to all of your experience and knowledge.
To my wonderful friends and classmates at NYU: It has been such a joy getting to know and work with all of you. It is a privilege watching you all perform, and I thank you for all of your support.
Finally, to my family: thank you so very much for being here today. It is always an honor to perform for you, and I am always floored by your support. Roo, thank you for being my stylist/best friend and for always taking care of me. Thank you to my parents for always being in the audience and, perhaps most importantly, for making me audition for the high school musical when I didn't make the tennis team.
